Like last year, you will be able to discover work by up and coming artists - yet to find gallery representation - on show in the Vanderborght building, the Brussels Gallery Weekend meeting point. For the exhibition Fried Patters the curator Tenzing Barshee selected work by nineteen young artists. We sketched a portrait-in-words of four of them to arouse your interest.

Zinaïda Tchelidze has lived in Brussels since 1997 and considers the city to be a place where artists can push their boundaries, if they feel so inclined. “It is diverse here, and experimental”, she notes, “but perhaps a little too calm for me, too comfortable.
